Delete your account
Two ways · both permanent
If you can still open the app, the first is immediate and needs nothing from anyone.
From inside the app
Open Settings, go to Delete account, and confirm. You are already signed in, so this happens straight away — your account is erased at once and you are signed out. Nothing is queued and nobody reviews it.
By asking here
Use this if you can no longer sign in — a lost phone, a sign-in method you cannot reach any more. This page cannot tell who you are, so it records a request rather than deleting anything. You are answered at the address you give, and the account is erased once it is clear which one you mean. This is completed within 30 days.
What is erased, either way
- Your account, display name and age bracket
- Every way of signing in to it, including any stored password hash
- Your ratings, and the games you played
- Tournament and private room membership
- Push notification tokens, so notifications stop
- Blocks you set, and reports you filed
This cannot be undone, and there is no way to recover an account afterwards. Signing in again later starts a new account with a new rating.
One thing is kept. If you use the form below, the request itself — the address you give and the date — is retained as the record that you asked and that it was carried out. It is not linked to a deleted account, because there is no longer one to link it to.
